Walters Controls, Inc. (WCI) was founded in 1995 as a controls contractor/integrator of HVAC controls components. The main office is located at 4916 Oak Circle DR. Mobile AL. 36609. A second office is located in Dothan, AL. on Murray RD

The Mobile office is fully staffed with office management, secretarial, sales, and mechanical/ software designers, programmers, CAD operators and project manager/control specialists. WCI also builds custom HVAC panels at both its Dothan and Mobile offices. Service for its installed base is also a feature of the company. WCI is dedicated to being customer friendly and easy to work with. A WCI employee answers the phone for each and every phone call we receive during business hours. No automated phone services are utilized.

WCI also provides mechanical and controls design work direct to owners, contractors and professional engineers throughout the southeast.

Walters Controls, Inc. is the leading controls company in southern Mississippi and South Alabama and welcomes partnering with contractors at their invitation for design build and renovation projects. WCI participates in both small and large projects for total comfort and energy conservation. We are an authorized contractor for both Honeywell and TAC/CSI DDC control components and have employees trained on both systems.

WCI has employees strategically located throughout our trade area of Southern Mississippi and South Alabama. All control specialists have company-supplied, reliable transportation.

Walters Controls, Inc. holds specialty General Contractors Licenses for Alabama and Mississippi/ We are covered by Liability and Workmen's Compensation insurance as required by each states laws and the requirements of AIA contracts. We are an EOE employer with smoke free premises and require drug testing of our employees.

A resume from each of the co-owners, C. L. "Skipper" Walters and Dan Luke are provided below:

C.L. 'Skipper' Walters, Jr. - President/CEO:

Bachelor of Science, University of South Alabama, IM/IE degree with minor in finance. 19 years with Honeywell Inc., 1977-1995. Skipper has completed and has been certified in Honeywell sales engineering, management and product schools. National sales award winner 4 times (top 3%) and worldwide sales award winner once (top 1/2%). Past responsibility for full branch profit-loss, administration, subcontract administration, engineering and sales with Honeywell International and now WCI. Mr. Walters is President/CEO of Walters Controls, Inc., which was founded in 1995. Mr Walters' responsibilities are the same as previously performed at Honeywell.


Dan D. Luke, Jr. - Vice President:

Mr. Luke attended the University of Houston. He received an Associate of Arts in Electronics, Houston Community College. 14 years with Honeywell Inc., 1982-1995. He has been trained in Honeywell management and technical schools and received an international Honeywelll award for technical achievement in 1986, regional supervisor of the year award and numerous regional technical achievement awards. Mr. Luke is Vice President of Walters Controls, Inc. He is responsible for delivery of engineering and construction.
